Wash is surface only — soap and water. Detail is deep: clay decontamination, interior shampoo, leather conditioning, sealant. Paint correction is machine polishing to remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation in the clear coat.

If you keep your car 3+ years, yes. It blocks UV (no more sun fade), sheets water and grime (washes are 5 min, not an hour), and resists chemical etching. Resale value bump is real. Not a magic shield against rock chips — that's PPF.
